Queen of Accessibility
What is accessible design?
It’s simply a home in which anyone with a physical disability can comfortably live-in, or even just visit. A few of the many important accessible design features to include in your home are; wider doorways, a no-step entrance, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, lower light switches, and 5 ‘ of clear floor space per room.
Having a wheelchair accessible home means that no matter what health-changes occur to you or your family, you’ll be able to maintain your freedom and independence and continue living in your own home.
We can help you
Are you planning on building your dream home or considering renovating an existing home? Will the design of your new home be able to accommodate your future accessibility needs if they happen to change?
Designing and incorporating for wheelchair accessibility at the building-stage is critical as retrofitting your home in the future would be costly and disruptive.
